Happy New Year! Empire Reindeer Christmas Club Charity Gala Big Success

Murphy Empire is proud to announce the total raised this year from the 113th annual gala is $9,500. Many thanks to the enormous generousity of all the individuals who attended, and combined with various organizations and companies, donated extra to produce this enormous amount. The total sales of the Empire Reindeer Limited Edition Sweater for 2010 season equals $700, many thanks to David Wood Clothiers for their generousity with these sales. This brings the grand Total to $10, 200 that we raised this year.

We are greatly loking forward to the 114th annual gala, to be held on December 3rd. See you there!

Announcing the 113th Empire Reindeer Christmas Club Charity Gala

Murphy Empire is proud to announce the commencement of the 113th season
of the Empire Reindeer Cristmas Club party for charity. ToysFor Tots is the benefactor
for this year, as it has been for the past several years. Our intent is to raise more
than last year, a monumental amount of $10, 230 went to the charity.

With the unveiling of the Empire Reindeer Club Sweater, limited edition made in London
provided by David Wood, who donates a portion of the proceeds to Toys For Tots, we
believe we can beat this past record.

The concept, design, branding, and website all conceived and created
by Ken Murphy of Murphy Empire.

Murphy Empire Helps Develop Logo & Branding for Maine's
First TEDx Event

Maine's first TEDx event logo and branding designed by Murphy Empire, in
collaboration with Dean Merrill, of Apogee Creative Studio. The premier event
is being held at the Frontier Cafe, Cinema, & Gallery in Brunswick, on October 10th.

The TEDx Dirigo event branding, titled 'Frontier' because of where it's
being held, includes a master logo, comprehensive website (designed & programmed
by Dean Merrill,) with custom banners and announcements, print collateral such as
posters, banners, and an 8x8 inch program book, all of which was in collaboration with
Dean, who produced all of the media, and laid the foundation for the visuals with his
endless toil and dedication.

The Empire Reindeer Christmas Club, raised $10,230 for Toys For Tots

December 5th, 2009, the Empire Reindeer Christmas Club hosted their
112th annual holiday charity gala at the Portland Yacht Club in Falmouth, Maine.
The party was an enormous success, with a record turnout of guests, from
which tickets sales and donations helped to raise a record number of dollars
for the Toys For Tots foundation, through the U.S. Marine Corps. A select group
of representatives from the Corps accepted the official donation at the event.

The final number of dollars raised, $10,230, tallied on Monday, 12/7, surpassed
the previously largest donor for the state of Maine, TD Bank, at $10,000. The
president of the organiztion, Ken Murphy, and the Vice President, Nick Dambrie, both from
the Portland area, are extremely greatful and amazed at the success and enormity of the
event, and to all who helped with this success. Thank you!

Murphy Empire awarded Gold and Silver Broderson Awards

Kenneth T. Murphy of Murphy Empire was awarded a Gold Broderson for
Utopia Designs Corporate Identity, and a Silver Broderson for the
David Wood Clothiers Website & Blog design. Out of four hundred total entries,
Ken Murphy submitted six, and was nominated for five.

The 2009 Broderson Award ceremony was held at the Merrill Aditorium,
and hosted by Maine ex-governer Angus King. The Borderson's are produced
by the Ad Club of Maine.
